TeenMindsMatter is a student-built movement fighting for mental health in schools, because no grade is worth your wellbeing.
Most mental health resources are built by adults, for adults, about teens. We flipped that. Everything here is by students, for students. We talk with you, not down to you.
Anonymous stories from our community.
You do not have to be in crisis to reach out. Struggling is enough.
Most mental health resources are built by adults, for adults, about teens. TeenMindsMatter flips that completely. Built by students, for students, in language teens actually speak.
Honestly, it started because I was frustrated. I kept seeing people around me going through a lot, and the only options were a school counselor who was stretched across hundreds of students, or resources written in this clinical language that felt completely detached from what any of us were actually experiencing.
Nobody was building something for teenagers that actually felt like it was made by someone who gets it. So I decided to try. I am a student. I know what it is like to feel the weight of grades and expectations and comparison. I know what it is like to not have the right words for what you are feeling.
That is what TeenMindsMatter is. It is not a hotline or a pamphlet. It is a space built by a teenager, for teenagers, that takes your mental health seriously without talking down to you about it.
We started small. It is growing. And every person who takes the quiz, starts a chapter, or just reads something on here that makes them feel a little less alone is the whole reason this exists.
